The Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry membership offers unmatched opportunities to drive sustainable economic growth and connectivity for trades, small business, commerce, and industry in the Whitsundays.
For the 2026/27 financial year, our membership categories are:
Core Chamber Memberships
- Business Advanced ($799*): For businesses seeking greater visibility, stronger networks, and a more active role in Chamber initiatives, with priority access to services and opportunities.
- Business Basics ($299*): Ideal for businesses wanting to stay connected, access resources, and participate in Chamber programs.
- Association Partner ($299*): Designed for member-based organisations and industry bodies, offering benefits for executive teams and discounts for their own members.
- Subscriber ($99*): Suitable for individuals or businesses wanting to stay informed and occasionally attend events.
Weddings Whitsundays Memberships
Tailored for those in the wedding sector, with enhanced promotional support to reach the global market:
- Essential Tier ($299*) the foundation for every Whitsunday wedding professional.
- Elevate Tier ($549*) for vendors looking to refine their brand and increase their reach.
Market Vendor Membership
- Market Vendor Chamber Subscription ($99*) a new membership category designed to bridge the gap between casual stallholders and established local businesses, combining the credibility, connections, and advocacy of the Chamber with exclusive benefits linked to Chamber-managed Markets.
*All fees are GST free, as we are a not-for-profit organisation
Membership is for the financial year, ending 30 June 2027.
Once your application is received, we will provide you with a membership pack and a pro-rata invoice for your selected membership level, calculated from your application date through to 30 June 2027:
- New members joining between June and December 2026: full annual membership fee applies
- New members joining between January and March 2027: 50% of the annual membership fee applies
- New members joining between April and June 2027: pay the full annual membership fee and receive membership through to 30 June 2028 (up to 15 months membership)
Applications for membership are subject to Chamber Board consideration.
Joint membership with Tourism Whitsundays
The Whitsundays business community is supported by two membership-based organisations with distinct purposes:
- Tourism Whitsundays for destination marketing, tourism operator promotion, tourism business training and networking; and
- The Whitsundays Chamber representing regional business priorities across all levels of government, and building better business by providing access to resources, services, education, and events.
You can sign up to Tourism Whitsundays’ Business Membership Level for $665 (plus GST) and receive a Chamber Subscription providing a simple and cost-effective option to enjoy the benefits of both organisations.
