Engaged couples and wedding industry businesses are invited to be part of one of the Whitsundays’ most exciting new events, with registrations now open for the inaugural Whitsundays Wedding Trail on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
Created by the Weddings Whitsundays — powered by the Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry — this event reimagines the traditional wedding expo.
Instead of a single venue, couples will hop on a guided bus loop and experience seven of the region’s premier wedding venues, each brought to life with a curated selection of local suppliers including photography, florals, styling, catering and more.
It’s immersive.
It’s interactive.
It’s designed to help couples find their dream wedding team in one unforgettable day.
Registrations are now open for couples looking to explore the trail and connect with suppliers along the way.
There’s Still Room for More!
Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Portfolio Manager Cait Fleming says there is still room for more suppliers to get on board.
“We want this Trail to showcase the very best of what the Whitsundays has to offer — and that goes well beyond the ceremony itself,” she said.
“We’re actively encouraging businesses from across the wedding, tourism, and accommodation industries to get involved, whether that’s a resort, a sailing charter, a helicopter operator, or a honeymoon experience provider.”
Supplier registrations are open to businesses from Townsville through to Mackay, with member and non-member pricing available. The event is backed by a multi-state digital marketing campaign targeting engaged couples across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
