3pm–5pm Thursday 27 August 2026
Club Whitsunday, Airlie Beach
Thank you for registering your team for the inaugural Chamber Games 2026, proudly hosted by the Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Chamber Games is a fun, social networking event designed to bring together local businesses, sporting clubs and the wider community for an afternoon of teamwork, friendly competition and connection.
Held immediately following the 2026 Whitsunday Business Conference, The Chamber Games is open to all local businesses and community members — conference attendance is not required to participate. Whether you are joining us after a full day at the Conference or coming along specifically for the Games, everyone is welcome.
This is not about sporting ability — it’s about participation, team spirit and having a great time. Teams will compete in a series of light-hearted challenges designed to encourage collaboration, laughter and a little friendly rivalry.
Team Competition
Teams of four will rotate through a range of challenges, competing for:
- Gold Medal Team & Chamber Games Perpetual Trophy
- Silver Medal Team
- Bronze Medal Team
- Best Dressed Team Award
No specialist sporting experience is required. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or simply keen to have some fun with your colleagues, everyone is welcome.
Bring your team spirit, your competitive edge and your best game face as we celebrate where business meets sport in the Whitsundays.
Team Registration Fee
The entry fee is $20 per team (four participants).
Your registration includes participation in all Chamber Games activities, the opportunity to compete for the perpetual trophy and prizes, and the chance to connect with local businesses and community sporting organisations in a relaxed and social environment.
Participant Acknowledgement
Once your team registration has been received, the Team Captain will receive a confirmation email containing a link to the Participant Acknowledgement Form, which must be completed by each team member prior to the event.
The form confirms that all participants understand the nature of the Chamber Games, acknowledge the recreational activities involved, and agree to follow the event safety requirements.
As part of completing the form, each participant will acknowledge that they:

- Are participating voluntarily and accept responsibility for assessing their own ability to participate safely.
- Are physically capable of participating or will advise event organisers of any injury, medical condition or limitation that may affect their safe participation.
- Will not participate in any activity if they feel unable to do so safely.
- Will follow reasonable instructions provided by event organisers, activity supervisors, sporting club representatives and venue staff.
- Will participate safely and respectfully, and stop participating if they experience pain, discomfort or feel unsafe.
- Authorise event organisers and nominated first aid providers to seek medical assistance on their behalf where reasonably required in an emergency, and understand they are responsible for any personal medical expenses incurred.
Photography & Media Consent
The Chamber Games is a community event and photography and filming will form part of capturing and promoting the experience.
By completing the Participant Acknowledgement Form, participants will confirm their understanding that:
- Photography and video footage may be captured during the event.
- Identifiable images and footage may be used by the Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote the Chamber Games and other Chamber activities.
- This may include use across social media, websites, newsletters, media releases, printed materials and future event promotions.
Participants who do not provide consent for photography and filming will not be able to participate, as capturing and sharing event content is an important part of promoting the Chamber Games and celebrating community involvement.
Liability Acknowledgement
Participants will also acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, the Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Club Whitsunday, participating sporting clubs, volunteers and event representatives are not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from:
- a participant’s own actions;
