Queensland Small Business Week Breakfast

Do you want to change your business in a positive way? Do you have difficulty keeping up with new trends in merchandising, display and social media marketing for your retail business?

Retail expert John Stanley will share his ideas on how to maximise current trends when he speaks at the Small Business Week Breakfast organised by the Whitsunday Coast Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Whitsunday Regional Council.

Entitled ‘Establishing a Retail Identity in Regional Centres’, John will share his innovative concepts at the event, on Thursday, May 30, which have helped many small businesses to grow and prosper.

The 45-minute presentation will be followed by 15 minutes for questions and a light breakfast will be served (tickets are $25 each – free for Chamber members).

John has more than 30 years’ experience in retail industries and is an inspiring and motivating speaker, bringing together his skills as coach, consultant, author and trainer. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and his vision and enthusiasm are legendary.

“As a retail consultant and conference speaker, my work allows me to help retailers from as small as a one-person business, upwards to large organisations,” he said.

“I particularly enjoy helping family businesses to grow and prosper. In my global work I see new trends in merchandising, display, social media marketing, general retailing, culinary eco-tourism and lifestyle retail. I share my ideas on how to maximise those trends.”

Queensland Small Business Week (QSBW) is an annual initiative of the Queensland Government.

This year, it will run from Monday, May 27, to Friday, May 31, 2019, and celebrates the small businesses who make a vital contribution to the state's economy and play an important role in each region across Queensland.

Each year, QSBW continues to grow, with more events in more locations, delivering a range of opportunities for small business owners to network, connect and learn new skills that will help them succeed now and in the future.

The Business Breakfast will run from 7am to 8.30am at Mantra Club Croc, Cannonvale.  For tickets, click here (Chamber members can input a special member code that will be sent to them).
